Dhawada Jewelry
A fast, SEO-first jewelry storefront built on a headless Next.js frontend with a familiar WordPress and WooCommerce backend the client's team already knows how to run.
The Challenge
Understanding client pain points
Jewelry buyers shop with their eyes and abandon slow, clunky stores in seconds. Dhawada needed a storefront that loaded instantly, showcased high-resolution product imagery beautifully, and ranked on Google for competitive jewelry search terms — yet the team wanted to keep managing products, inventory, and orders in WordPress and WooCommerce, the tools they already understood. The challenge was marrying a modern, conversion-focused frontend with a content and catalog backend the client could run independently, without sacrificing performance or search visibility.
The Solution
Engineering a modern solution
We delivered a headless commerce architecture: a Next.js storefront consuming WordPress and WooCommerce as the backend over REST and GraphQL APIs. Product data, collections, pricing, and inventory live in WooCommerce, while the customer-facing experience is a server-rendered Next.js app tuned for speed and SEO. We implemented optimized product imagery, a refined catalog and product-detail experience, cart and checkout, and structured data for rich results. Static generation and incremental revalidation keep pages fast and fresh, so marketing and merchandising stay in WordPress while shoppers get an app-grade storefront.
Shared Architecture, Instantaneous Synchronization
Dhawada runs on a clean separation of concerns — a Next.js presentation layer for shoppers and a WordPress/WooCommerce control center for the client's team — connected through a single commerce API.
The customer-facing storefront is a responsive, SEO-optimized Next.js application engineered for mobile-first jewelry shoppers — fast image-rich product pages, smooth browsing, and a streamlined checkout — while the entire catalog, pricing, and order pipeline stays manageable inside the WordPress and WooCommerce dashboard the client's team runs day to day.
Key features built to perform
Headless Architecture
A decoupled Next.js frontend talks to WordPress and WooCommerce via REST/GraphQL, giving an app-grade storefront on top of a CMS the client already runs.
SEO-First Storefront
Server-side rendering, clean URLs, structured data, and fast Core Web Vitals built in to help jewelry collections rank and convert on search.
Visual Product Experience
Optimized high-resolution imagery, refined collection and product-detail pages, and responsive layouts that showcase jewelry the way it deserves.
WooCommerce Control
The client manages products, pricing, inventory, and orders entirely in WordPress/WooCommerce — no developer needed for everyday store operations.
The Technology Stack
Challenges & Engineering Decisions
Traditional WooCommerce themes are heavy and slow. We went headless — serving a lean Next.js frontend with static generation and ISR while WordPress stays purely as the data and admin layer — delivering near-instant page loads and strong Core Web Vitals without the client changing how they manage the store.
